Chaos Magic has it's roots in England during the 1970's and can be seen as a return to a more pragmatic system of magic. By emphasizing the importance of belief and how it affects perception, Chaos magicians regard beliefs as tools to accomplish whatever task the are performing and are free to shift their beliefs at any time according to their will.
